Traveling World War II Museum Arrives in Henderson
Tuesday, September 7, 2010 * H. Leslie Perry Library Parking Lot
(Henderson, NC) – The Bus-eum, a museum on wheels, will arrive at the H. Leslie Perry Memorial Library at 205 Breckenridge St. on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 to show case an exhibit on WWII Prisoners of War (POW’s). Using ten narrative panels and films about this story, TRACES’ mobile museum – a retrofitted school bus called the BUS-eum 3 – will be in the H. Leslie Perry Memorial Library parking lot from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. The event is free and open to the public. Groups are asked to call (252) 438-3316 ext. 236 to schedule a tour.
