Collection Development

The Collection Development Policy, approved by the Library Board of Trustees, is one of the Perry Memorial Library’s fundamental policy documents. It serves as a guide for the selection, maintenance, and evaluation of materials in the library’s collection in order to meet the needs of the community. The Collection Development Policy also serves to inform the public about the library’s collection and the library management principles which govern collection development at the Perry Memorial Library.

A citizen's request for reconsideration is included as an appendix to this policy.
