Friends of the Library
Friends of the Perry Memorial Library
The Friends of the Library provide volunteers and funding for special library programs and needs. The Friends oversee a book sale three times per year which helps to raise funds that are used to support library programs. Members receive early admission to the book sale, as well as a quarterly Friends’ newsletter.
The Friends of the Library provide support for the annual Storytelling Festival, the Let’s Talk About It book discussion series, the Summer Reading Program, and the library’s annual Staff Development Day, among other special projects.
The Friends of the Perry Memorial Library are community members who share an interest in supporting and encouraging their local library. They help spread the word about the library, fund special initiatives, provide matching funds for grants, and participate in library programs. The library is grateful for the dedication of the Friends and we owe much of our success to their support. I invite you to consider joining their membership.
