Do you or someone you know miss reading, but can no longer come to visit the library? If so, give Adult Outreach a try!

This free service is available to any adult living in Vance County who is considered homebound or institutionalized due to age, illness, or physical disability, no matter if it's temporary (at least 6 weeks) or longer.

Library materials are delivered monthly to qualifying patrons to their homes or assisted living/nursing facilities.

• Audio Books on CD

• Books (Regular and Large Print)

• DVD Movies

• Magazines

How many items will I receive?

This depends on your preference. Most people find that 5-6 items per delivery is enough to keep them engaged for a month. But if you're a fast reader we suggest you request more items. We can adjust the number of items and type of materials at any time.

When will I receive materials?

Materials are delivered monthly to your front door by outreach staff. A delivery date and time will be arranged in advance.
