James Clifton Moore

Aviation Machinist's Mate Second Class James Clifton Moore was killed in action on March 3, 1943 in the southwest Pacific during World War II. He was 19 years old. 

James Clifton Moore was born on February 8, 1924, the son of John Bailey Moore and Georgie R. Moore.

Moore enlisted in the U.S. Navy on May 31, 1941. Details of his service and the circumstances of his death have not been determined at this time.

Aviation Machinist’s Mate Second Class James Clifton Moore is buried in Elmwood Cemetery, Henderson, North Carolina.
